Sustainable academic network

On March 18, 2021, a Webinar was held for partners of the Kyrgyz Research and Educational Network Association (KRENA) on the topic “Modernization of Higher Education in Central Asia through Modern Technologies” (HiEdTec) in Kyrgyzstan.

The aim of the Webinar was to disseminate information and results of the Erasmus+ project “Modernization of Higher Education in Central Asia through Modern Technologies” (HiEdTec) in Kyrgyzstan among partners of the KRENA scientific and educational network.

At the webinar, welcoming remarks were made by the rector of the KSTU Mirlan Chynybaev, executive director of KRENA Kadyrkul Karabukayev, National coordinator of the Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan Gulnara Chokusheva.

The coordinator of the HiEdTec project Professor Angel Smrikarov and the deputy of project coordinator Professor Tsvetomir Vasilev, made a presentation on the topic “Creating a sustainable academic network is the main task of the Eurasian HiEdTec project”.

The results of the project “Modernization of Higher Education in Central Asia through Modern Technologies” (HiEdTech) were presented by the Project Coordinator of the KSTU Bibigul Koshoeva.

Researcher of the project Aigiuzel Bakalova demonstrated for partners of the KRENA network a Virtual Library https://hiedtec.ecs.uni-ruse.bg/index.php?cmd=cmsPage&pid=38

The emphasis was on what needs to be done to expand the academic network of the project and to popularize its Virtual Library, with the help of which to transfer our

knowledge, experience and good practices to other universities in Central Asia.

All activities of the HiEdTec project “Modernization of Higher Education in Central Asia through Modern Technologies” are organized with the financial support of the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program.
